“Beachside Living” is the debut single from psych-pop duo, Goodvibes Sound, and is a joyous, care-free track with end-of-summer vibes. The song reminisces on a past holiday romance and the heartbreak that came with it. The captivating psych-pop track, premiered on NTS by Don Sinini and is the first in a string of singles being released by Goodvibes Sound in 2020.
Inspired by 70s California, hot tubs and beach bars, Goodvibes Sound craft pop songs to dance to with disco beats, funky basslines and layered harmonies. They are inspired by Donny Benét, Connan Mockasin and Ariel Pink.
“We both came together last year and bonded a lot over summer romances that hadn’t worked out” said Angus, one half of the London-based duo. “The thrill and the heartbreak can feel pretty wild, so on this song we wanted to have fun and make peace with those summer feelings.”
